In 1996, when I was studying at the Shelton Studios in San Francisco, I decided that the best way to prepare for auditioning was to gather students from my class and put on a production. The result was La Ronde, which was extended for two weekends, and whose proceeds I donated back to our school. We had a blast rehearsing, designing the production, and performing. Our director, Felecia Faulkner seemed to have all the costumes, props and everything else in her basement! This was teamwork at its best, and my first experience in producing a prouction. I haven’t looked back since.
