I want you to stand out
If you’re only using the logical part of your mind, no matter how powerful, you’re still working at half capacity.
I want you to be the best professional, partner, parent, problem-solver, doctor, or creative you can be. That’s why I urge you to do creative things. Not only is it FUN, but it makes you sharper, more present, more agile, more personable, more attuned to patterns, more interesting—and happier. And if that’s not changing the world one person, one act at a time, what is?
As a lifelong creative, I once assumed creativity was naturally part of everyone’s practice. But after more than a decade of teaching Creativity to undergraduates, professionals, and adults at Stanford Continuing Studies, I discovered most people believe they aren’t creative—that it’s a gift reserved for others. It’s not. If you’ve built an IKEA shelf, planned a birthday party, picked the best route to work, chosen wall paint, or stretched your dollars, you’ve practiced creativity. These real-life AHA moments, which have empowered so many of my students, inspired me to scale my work from the classroom to a broader consulting practice. I look forward to connecting with you and helping you become the most creative, fulfilled version of yourself—at work and at home.
